Od bieżącego roku akademickiego realizacja seminarium interdyscyplinarnego będzie możliwa między innymi poprzez udział w seminariach organizowanych na niektórych Wydziałach PW. Możliwe będzie zarówno uzyskanie godzin związanych z uczestnictwem jak i wygłoszenie prezentacji.

W celu zgłoszenia chęci uczestniczenia w seminarium na Wydziale należy skontaktować się z Koordynatorem wydziałowym.

Doctoral Seminar (2026L)

1. Participation in the doctoral seminar is obligatory for ALL PhD students regardless of the implemented educational program;

2. The number of required seminar attendance hours, regardless of the pursued educational program, is 60 hours in total throughout the entire period of education (it is recommended to attend at least 10 hours per academic year.).

3. EACH PhD student is obliged to give at least TWO presentations during the 4 years of education in DS, REGARDLESS OF THE IMPLEMENTED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM. The topic of the presentations should correspond with the topic of the dissertation.

4. Applications for receiving credit for conference participation may be submitted once per a year of education. A maximum of 5 seminar hours can be credited.

       The application must include:

• a personalized certificate confirming participation in the conference.

5. Application for receiving credit for a conference presentation may be submitted twice during the entire educational process. Poster presentations cannot be accepted as conference presentations. A presentation should last at least 15 minutes.

• a personalized confirmation of the conference presentation (or, alternatively, the conference program with your presentation clearly marked).

6. Due to the fact that the seminar groups with less than 6 participants cannot be launched, it is estimated for two groups with similar topics to be connected in bigger blocks. PhD students will be assigned to the respective blocks according to their chosen topic of the seminar.

7. The seminar lecturer will contact the PhD students about the dates of the seminar and to discuss the topic of the presentation.

8. Classes will be held in the stationary form, in accordance with the schedule arranged by the lecturer.

9. Registration for a seminar group (1–6) obliges you to deliver a seminar presentation within that group.

10. Those who will not give a presentation, and will only participate in the seminars, are required to register to the ‘Group 100’. Those who will not register to any group, will fail the participation hours in the given semester.
